Wasm Smart Contracts

info

Wasm smart contracts have been wound down on Astar, Shiden and Shibuya in October 2026. Deploying or interacting with Wasm contracts is no longer supported.

For background on the sunset, see the forum announcement.

To build smart contracts on Astar, use the EVM stack.
